Gala Concert

The Musicians of the World Symphony Orchestra (MWSO) is happy to announce their Gala concert, entitled, ‘The Music we Love’ which will take place on June 7th, 2007, at 8pm at the Oscar Peterson Concert hall at Concordia University, Loyola campus. The orchestra has a special mandate to give the opportunity to accomplished musicians from different countries and ethnic backgrounds, to showcase their musical talent to their own communities as well as the Montreal community at large.

The media has referred to as ‘The United nations of Music’. We are known due to the special interest and help afforded the orchestra by the City of Montreal and the City of Cote Saint Luc. We are confident that all the people who have helped us, and have become our audience will continue to be happy with the MWSO’s performances.

The Program includes Mozart’s Overture of the Enchanted flute, Brahms Symphony No 2, Esquisse by Morel, the Ensemble ‘Churuata’; songs of Venezuela, and Gershwin’s’Rhapsody in Blue’ featuring Isabelle david on piano.
